According to CoinDesk, Sid Powell, CEO of Maple Finance, an encrypted institutional lending agreement, said in a community conference call that he is planning to launch a lending pool for investing in U.S. Treasury bonds, allowing qualified investors outside the United States to invest in U.S. Treasury bonds on the chain. He also expressed plans to hold a community vote on new token economics for its native token MPL later this year. In addition, Maple Finance will launch a new lending product, known internally as Maple Prime, which will help borrowers actively manage their collateral positions, and the agreement also plans to introduce open-term loans, which provide borrowing lines with no maturity date.
